There were 404 registrants for the World Poker Tour Merit Classic tournament in Cyprus creating a $1,471,320 prize pool and Russian pro Alexander Lakhov took the top spot in his second WPT tournament.
Nicolas Chouity and comprised Lakhov, Dmitry Gromov, Toby Lewis, Ori Miller and Igor Devkin were seated at the final table.
Lakhaov faced off against Gromov in the heads up but Gromov was sent home in second place with $215,000.
Lakhov came in first to snag the trophy, the main prize, and a ticket for the World Poker Tour World Championship at Borgata at the end of the season worth $15,400.

I really don't know what you need to have to win this kind of tournament. A lot of lucky ? a lot of skils ? ... I really dont know but I know that I will never win...

I really dont know but I know that I will never win one of this tournament :) maybe becouse tournament I play is a low bet and prizes for that tournaments are buy in here :D never mind, just admire these guys, well done
