Ongame Pulls Out of Grey Markets
Amaya Gaming Group's Ongame Poker Network has followed in the footsteps of PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker by withdrawing from 30 grey market regions this week. Ongame skins Betsson, Poker Heaven, PAF, RedKings and Redbet are operators that are no longer offering real money gambling services to these markets as of October 1, 2014. A pop-up in the software notified players in the following countries: Malaysia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Egypt, Qatar, Jordan, Kuwait, Senegal , Nigeria, Bahrain, Afghanistan, Palestine Territory, Kenya, Mozambique, Rwanda, Vatican City, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Zimbabwe, Libya, Sudan, North Korea, Cuba, Myanmar and Yemen. Amaya Gaming Group will continue to withdraw from unregulated markets in preparation for entry into the U.S. regulated market.
