Paddy Power plc will be hosting its first poker tournament in England with an Alice in Wonderland themed festival held at the Manchester235 land casino.
The Madchester Poker Open will be a three day event scheduled for 21st – 23rd November and comes with a GBP 550 buy-in and a GBP 100,000 prize pool.
Beer company Carlsberg will sponsor the festival including several NLHE side events.
Patrick Thornton, head of Paddy Power Poker, said that the popularity of Paddy Power in the North West of England made it the perfect spot to host the brand's first English tournament.
