Three Winners Emerge from Prague Festival of Poker
Three champions of Eureka, EPT Super High Roller and Open Face Chinese events have emerged from the festival of poker in Prague. Hungarian pro Balazs Botond took down the Eureka Prague event which resulted in a three way chop between Ayman Zbib and Athanasios Xenodochidis. Those that made it to the final table included Botond from Hungary; Lebanese player Ayman Zbib, Ayman Zbib, Athanasios Xenodochidis from Greece, Canadian Jonas Mackoff, Viktor Velikov and Atanas Malinov of Bulgaria, Lukas Blanco from Spain and Norwegian Endre Sagstuen. Xenodochidis took third place and Euro 186,881 leaving Zbib and Botond in the heads up. Zbib took second with Euro 163,921 leaving Botond in first place with a Euro 206,948 paycheck. The Euro 50,000 buy-in European Poker Tour Prague Super High Roller resulted in a major win for Leonid Markinclaim with Euro 771,360 after facing Paul Newey on the heads up. Norwegian pro Mikal Blomlie came in first place in the Euro 1,000 buy-in Open-Face Chinese Poker World Championship taking home Euro 35,000 and leaving German pro Jan Hendrik Tapken as the runner with Euro 21,000.
