A 28-year-old American player, Josh Kay, won the first Latin American Poker Tournament in the Bahamas. The most exciting part was that he faced WSOP bracelet winner, EPT Prague and London champion and Super High Roller champion and German high-stakes heads-up specialist Martin Finger in the heads up to win top prize of $367,928. The $3,000 buy-in event saw 532 participants, with re-buys there were a total of 736 entries. In all, 111 players took cash prizes from the $1,945,248 prize pool. Big name players including Stefan Jedlicka, Mustapha Kanit, Dimitar Danchev and Jose Carlos Garcia also made it to the final table. In the end, Finger was knocked out in second place and took home $223,900.
