Another Bill Introduced for Legalized Intrastate Online Poker in Mississippi
Mississippi state Representative Bobby Moak has introduced his fourth consecutive bill for the legalization of intrastate online poker. The Mississippi Lawful Internet Gaming Act Of 2015 has been renamed and brought back this week. His previous failures resulted in the creation of a task force commissioned to study online gambling and provide feedback to the House. The team is led by Mississippi Gaming Commission executive director Allen Godfrey. Of the new bill makes it to the Senate, it must do so prior to February 23 deadline and support may be reliant on the findings of the task force. The current gambling industry in Mississippi consists of tribal, land and riverboat casinos.
