The World Poker Tour Lucky Hearts Poker Open finale drew in 1,027 participants and a huge prize pool exceeding $3.2 million, which went mainly to winner 26-year-old Brian Altman of Massachusetts.
The field dwindled down to a final table comprised of Altman, Mark Dube, Kelly Minkin, Greg Rosen, Sanjay Gehi and Jon Graham. Each member of the final table received a 6-figure payout.
Minkin, the only female remaining, took third place for $262,912 leaving Mark Dube, 25, to face Altman in the heads up.
Dube took home the runner up prize of $434,462 while Altman earned a payday of $723,008 plus Monster DNA headphones, and a $15,400 seat at the WPT World Championship.
