Austrian poker pro Raphael Wimmer won the Euro 1,100 buy-in Eureka Rozvadov Main Event over the weekend taking first prize of Euro 99,685 after a five-way chop at the final table. There were a total of 664 entrants in the event, which generated a Euro 644,080 prize pool. The final table was comprised of Dutch pro Ruben Pleijster, Marek Blasko and Branislav Ondrus of Slovakia, Rastislav Paleta, Josef Gulas and Josef Pavelka of the Czech Republic, and Raphael Wimmer. The final five agreed to a 5-way chop leaving each with the following amounts: Wimmer: Euro 89,685; Blasko Euro 59,962; Paleta Euro 59,962; Pleijster Euro 53,215; and Pavelka Euro 50,646. This resulted in Euro 10,000 remaining for the winner. The deal was done and dusted when Wimmer and Josef Pavelka faced off in the heads up, resulting in an overall win for the Austrian player.
