Greek player Ioannis Triantafyllakis won the Paddy Power Irish Poker Open over the weekend after facing Kevin Killeen in the heads up that included a two-way split. Triantafyllakis earned a Euro 209,500 paycheck plus a satellite Sole Survivor bonus of Euro 50,000 as the final online qualifier from Paddy Power. In second place, Killeen won Euro 192,500. The field of 300 participants in the Euro 3,500 buy-in main event dwindled down to Donnacha O'Dea, Declan Connolly, Michael Wang, Fergal Cawley, Baard Dahl, Andreas Gann, Killeen and Triantafyllakis. Killeen and Triantafyllakis worked out a 2-way chop giving Euro 209,500 to Triantafyllakis and Euro 192,500 to Killeen rather than the first prize of Euro 250,000 and second prize of Euro 152,000.
