World Series of Poker history was made as Michelle Chin became the first female WSOP Circuit Main Event champion while at Horseshoe Casino in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Chin, born in Taiwan but living in Wichita, Kansas, considers herself a recreational poker but went on to win the top prize of $88,126 and a WSOP gold ring. “It feels really great," Chin said following the win. "This is probably at most the 10th tournament I've ever played in my life.
