20-Year-Old Spanish Poker Pro wins EPT Grand Final Main Event
Spanish poker pro, 20-year-old Adrian Mateos, won the Euro 10,600 buy-in European Poker Tour Grand Final main event banking Euro 1,082,000. Of 564 hopefuls, those that made it to the final table included Mateos Muyedine Fares from Senegal, Johnny Lodden from Norway, Lebanon's Hady El Asmar (chip leader), Jose Carlos Garcia of Poland, Japanese ace Koichi Nozaki, and German pros Ole Schemion and Markus Ross. Mateos faced Muhyedine Fares in the heads up sending him home in second place with Euro 679,000.
