Damjan Radanov Wins WSOP New Orleans Main Event
Damjan Radanov, 33, was the last man standing in the World Series of Poker Circuit Main Event at Harrah's in New Orleans taking the first prize of $174,514. The Memphis resident managed to come out on top against a field of 554 hopefuls including four-time ring winner David Nicholson. Radanov faced Nicholson in the heads up but ultimately sent him home in second place with $107,939. Born in Serbia, Radanov made the move to the US nearly 10 years ago. He finished three years of law school but never pursued a career in law in America. Instead, he has played poker for the last six years.
