Garden City Group Issuing Another Round of Payments
Garden City Group has been given the okay from the U.S. Department of Justice Asset Forfeiture and Money Laundering Section to issue another round of payments owed to players from Full Tilt Poker's (FTP) “Black Friday” shut down in 2012. There will be approximately 2,000 payments worth $4.3 million going out, which also includes petitioners who have disputed their FTP account balances, petitioners who have confirmed their FTP account balances and petitioners designated by FTP as “professionals”. According to Garden City Group, it will have completed nearly 87 percent of all petitions filed one this round of payments is made. The last payments were made in April 2015 totaling about $2.5 million.
