John Gale Comes Back with a Vengeance at WSOP Las Vegas
After being out of the game for three years due to health issues, 61-year-old Brit World Series of Poker veteran John Gale was a success in Las Vegas having won Event 18, a $1,500 buy-in NLHE Turbo competition. It was a great day for Gale as he earned his second WSOP bracelet and top prize of $298,290 main prize. This event was his third final table at WSOP and marked his tenth cash for a profit of around $1 million. The final started out with Gale third in chips but that changed half way through leading to a heads up against Gary Luther. Luther ended up coming in second place for a win of $184,481.
