Bitcoin Operator Cuts Deal to Return to US and Face Trial
Department of Justice prosecutors have their work cut out for them to nail Bitcoin online casino operator Bryan Micon, who seems to have made a deal to return to the United States to stand before his accusers with a top defense team at his side. Ealier this year Micon and his family fled the US and headed to Antigua after Nevada police raided his Las Vegas home. A US judge has lifted the warrant for Micon's arrest so he may reenter the US with David Chesnoff leading his legal team. Chesnoff also successfully defended Paul Phua in the recent case involving illegal World Cup sports betting. Micon's hearing is scheduled for Thursday June 25 where he is accused of operating the Sealswithclubs online gambling site, a Bitcoin site that closed in February when reports of management disagreements and enforcement surveillance surfaced. Since then Micon launched a new mainly Bitcoin casino brand called SwCPoker.eu based in Antigua.
