Alexander Petersen, a 31-year-old Danish online poker pro, took down a field of 387 to score his first World Series of Poker gold bracelet, top prize of $927,655 and the 2015 $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha World Championship Title.
Petersen faced Jason Mercier in the heads-up and said, “Coming to Las Vegas was always a break for me, away from playing. This is first event I played here where I really took it seriously, and it paid off.”
