The Euro 10,000 buy-in Euro 25,000 buy-in European Poker Tour High Roller event in Barcelona ended in a 3-way chop with 24-year-old Italian pro Mustapha Kanit claiming first prize. Niklas Astedt of Sweden took 4th place and Euro 336,700 leaving the final three, which included Kanit, UK player Kully Sidhu, and Nick Petrangelo. The trio agreed to the chop and it was Kanit who ended in 1st place with a Euro 738,759 pay check. Sidhu finished in second place for Euro 640,000 and Petrangelo with Euro 592,840 in third. Kanit's total in online and live tournament earnings now top out at around $5 million.
