New Yorker Wins WSOPE Monster Stack
Event 4 of WSOP Europe, the "Monster Stack" No-Limit Hold'em competition, resulting in a win for a New York financial adviser Ryan Hefter, who earned his first bracelet and Euro 176,205. Hefter is working with Credit Suisse in Poland and made his way to Berlin specifically for the WSOPE. Danish player Henrik Hecklen began as the chip leader at the final table but finished in 4th place leaving Gilbert Diaz from France, Carlos Chang from Taiwan and Hefter to battle it out. Hefter then eliminated Chang and entered the heads up round with Diaz for the win.
