Intertops and Juicy Stakes Announce Five Champions to take Part in CPT Punta Cana Main Event
The top sites among the Poker Revolution Network have spoken, and the online satellite tournament champions have been announced. The five champions will compete next week in the CPT Punta Cana Main Event. Intertops and Juicy Stakes Poker satellite tournaments have come to an end, and the time has come for the final stretch, scheduled to take place in the Caribbean, November 4-8. Last year's Main Event winner was American poker pro, Ari Engel, who walked away with the trophy, along with a cool $177,045. If you're wondering who the lucky champions are, their names are listed as follows: 32 year old Austrian poker pro, Daniel Montagnolli; Neil Slade, a builder and recreational poker player from Hampshire UK; Derek Scallon, Chicago poker pro and film producer, Steven Loney, a businessman who plays for fun, and Phil Cardella, a Pittsburgh CAD designer and recreational player. Players will be sharing their experiences via the Living the Dream poker player blog. Larry Colcy, 'The Gambblogger,' who will be producing daily video reports directly from the Hard Rock Casino in Punta Cana, is “really looking forward to joining the players in Punta Cana.” He adds, “I'll have tournament results as well as interviews with the Living Dream players and other players at the tournament. I'll also follow them around with my video camera as they enjoy the resort!” While daily video reports won't resume until the start of the tournament on November 4th, you can check out the first episode, which features an interview with CPT Punta Cana organizer, Leon Groenwoud, currently available on the blog and on YouTube and Facebook. Episode 2 will be viewable on Nov. 4th.
