Day 2 of the Monster WPT Tournament of Champions concluded on April 23rd with six players reaching the coveted final table. It took all day to rid the tournament of some of the world's top players, but after all was said and done, some big names managed to shine. Chip leader Jonathan Jaffe, heads into the final with 996,000 chips (83 Blinds). Jaffe won his way in to the Tournament of Champions when he won the 2014 WPT Montreal for $429,000. Mizrachi is the obvious favorite with over $14 million in tournament winnings over his prestigious career. “The Grinder” is a two time WPT champion winning his first title in 2005 at the WPT LA Poker Classic. His 2nd WPT win came in 2006 at the WPT Winter Poker Open. He also wears 3 WSOP bracelets and a combined 19 final tables between the WPT, and the WSOP. Experience is on his side. And Noah Schwartz 532,000. Schwartz busted Antonio Esfandiari on day when he spiked an Ace to beat Antonio's pocket 10's. Play resumes at the Seminole Hard Rock in Florida on Sunday at 4 P.M. EST. The final table will be a televised event. You can also view live, hand for hand coverage on Twitch.tv with a 30-minute delay. Commentary from Tony Dunst and Vanessa Selbst will headline the event. Andy Frankenberger was the unfortunate soul to land on the final table when Noah Schwartz busted his A-6 with pocket 8's. Frankenberger raised all in pre-flop, and was met with a snap call from Schwartz. The board ran out without an Ace, sending Andy to the rails. First place will win $381,600.
