WSOP Adds Online Registration for 2016 WSOP
Pokers largest brand – The WSOP, has been doing everything they can to make players happy, and their series of tournaments run smoother. Two weeks ago, they announced mportant changes to rules and player enhancements. One of those improvements was the addition of a new cash out program that lets those who cash in a tournament, receive a text when their cash out is processed instead of waiting in line. Many complained of the hours they had to wait in line to get their winnings. This was just the start of improving the player experience, and making it a more efficient event. Earlier this week, the WSOP made an exciting announcement that is sure to be a welcome change. In years past, all registrations were handled at the casinos. Again adding to the time and frustration that was unwanted, and unnecessary. This year, at the 2016 WSOP, players can now register for events online prior to the event. Saving time and headaches, allowing them to focus on playing. There are a few requirements in order to sign up online for tournaments, but all in all, it's a painless process that will enhance the tournament in so many ways. All registrations must be done at the Bravo Poker Website. Bravo Poker is a tournament software company used by the top live tournaments in the world. Players will need to create an account with Bravo Poker, as well as have a Casers Total Rewards account. Both are free to create and only take a few simple steps. Once registered for a tournament, you will need to show up an hour prior to the start of the tournament. Payment options for registering online include credit cards, cashier's check, and wire transfers. Its recommended to use wire transfers or cashier checks since credit cards have limitations and additional fees. When using a credit card, players can only register for tournaments online with a buy in of $1,500 or less. There is also a 2.95% processing fee and a $3 surcharge. The one advantage to using credit cards is that players can register no later than 72 hours in advance. For cashier's checks and wire transfers, entries must be received 14 days before the start of the event. However, no extra fees apply to wire transfers or checks. Finally, to make this process even faster, Fast Track Kiosks will be added to the casino floor. These allow players who have registered online to bypass lines and quickly show proof of I.D. to get their ticket into the tournament they registered online for. For more information, visit WSOP.com.
