Meet the 2016 WSOP November Nine

Meet the 2016 WSOP November Nine
Although the WSOP is over, we still have one more final table to complete. This won't happen for months, but until then we can find out who are November Nine participants are. The November Nine is a bit misleading this year, as the main event final table will take place on October 30th. November Nine does sound a bit cooler though. We have a diverse group of players this year, representing five countries. The past few years have been the dominance of German players. This year is looking to see the Americans take back the crown. Fernando Pons – Spain Fernando is an unknown and making his first cash at a WSOP event. It's good to see a new comer make a name for himself at the WSOP. That's what the event is all about. Anyone can join and potentially win. Pons has some work to do to win with just over 6 million in chips. This is the first time the Spaniard has ever been to Vegas and his first ever WSOP event. Jerry Wong – USA Another relatively unknown with just $127,000 in WSOP earnings, Wong comes to the final table with just over 10 million chips. He does have 19 cashes at the WSOP, so there is some experience. Nothing can compare to the stress of playing under the lights of the main event final table though. Griffin Benger – Canada Benger is an accomplished player who made a deep run in the main event in 2014, ultimately placing 90th. Benger has limited success at the WOSP, but does have titles in other major events around the world. He currently has 26 million chips. Vojtech Ruzicka – Czech Republic Ruzicka is the first of our finalists with a final table under his belt at the WSOP. Sitting with 27 million chips, he has a solid chance at increasing his $1 million in current tournament winnings. Michael Ruane – USA Ruane has little experience in tournaments with only 5 cashes in all lifetime events. His largest cash is just $17,000. That was until now. He's guaranteed a million-dollar payout even if he falls flat on his face and busts in 9th. Kenny Hallaert – Germany Hallaert has been up and down the leaderboard since day 3. He was the one time chip leader, then dropped down the field. He played well and fought back to come in to the final table in 4th place with over 43 million chips. Gordon Vayo – USA Vayo has 3 final tables under his belt and is no stranger to the pressure. He has no bracelets, but does have a 2nd place in a WSOP event. Currently he's in 3rd with over 49 million chips. Qui Nguyen – USA Our 2nd place member has only $50,000 in career tournament earnings and just one WSOP cash. Little is known about the player, but we do know he has over 67 million in chips. Cliff Josephy – USA The overwhelming favorite is Josephy. Not only does he have a pile of chips (74 million), he has the most experience, and definitely the best player here. Cliff has 2 WSOP bracelets and millions in lifetime earnings. Cliff is also one of the best known online players known as JonnyBax.
