Intertops and Juicy Stakes Kick off Caribbean Satellite Tournaments

Online satellite tournaments have begun at both Juicy Stakes and Intertops Poker. The winner of the tournaments will be sent to St Maarten for the $75K TKPT Caribbean poker tournament. A final for the three-tier tournament series has been scheduled for February 5th. The lucky winner of Step 1 and 2 in the tournaments will earn a spot in the Final. The winner will be awarded with a $3500 prize package, which includes an $1150 buy-in to the MAIN EVENT, along with accommodations for an all-inclusive stay at Sonesta Maho Beach Resort, which is conveniently located directly across the street from the casino. The package also includes travel expenses. March 21st through the 23rd will mark Day 1A, 1B, and 1C of the Main Event, while the Final will take place on the 25th. Registration can be completed by selecting the ‘Tournaments’ tab in the poker rooms. According to Intertops poker manager, “This is the third time we’ve sent players to TKPT tournaments in St Maarten. It’s a well-organized event that attracts a mix of professional, semi-professional and amateur players. In addition to the Main Event there are lots of other opportunities to win some cash and for those that need a break from the tables there’s lots to do on a friendly, tropical island like St. Maarten!” Tim O’Keefe, last year’s series winner, commented, “It’s great to be able to hit the beach in the afternoon before a night of poker. Don’t be distracted by the tropical setting though -- there’s some serious money to be made!
