Brandon Adams is a US based pro poker player and author of a book called Broke: A Poker Novel. His parents migrated to the US from Dalmatia in the early sixties, when his father also changed their surname from Adamović to Adams.
The pro poker player prefers to play high stakes poker games, and can often be spotted on poker television programs. His best (or at least most famous) achievement thus far is beating poker pro Sammy Farha, and taking almost one million bucks from him, at a heads up Pot-Limit Omaha game. He also managed to finish in sixth place in the World Series of Poker that was held in 2007. Back then, he finished 6th and earned $75 000 in a $1 500 Pot-Limit Omaha WSOP event.
Adams’ book, Broke: A Poker Novel, is very popular amongst poker players. It is a fictional account of a group of poker players and the exciting lives they lead. The idea behind the story is that the best and brightest minds of America’s youth is now sidestepping Wall Street and opting to become professional poker players.

Brandon Adams appeared in Poker After Dark is an hour-long poker television program on NBC. The show made its debut on January 1, 2007. Over the years the show has been presented by Shana Hiatt, Marianela Pereyra, and Leeann Tweeden. Oliver ‘Ali’ Nejad has done voice-over commentary for all the programs. Poker After Dark switched over to High Definition on January 4, 2010.
Brandon Adams on Season 5 of Poker After Dark, that was aired in 2009. Most of the action for this show was taped at the famous Las Vegas Casino, Golden Nugget in December 2008. Adams will also appear in Season 6 this year.
