Emad Tahtouh

Emad Tahtouh is a professional poker player who hails from Australia. Before turning to the arena of professional poker, Emad first worked in the field of IT. He spent four years in this type of work, beginning first as a technician and following that he became a project manager, before looking in the direction of professional poker.
Emad's first claim to fame in the poker world was probably his close involvement in persuading his friend Joe Hachem to join him in competing at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) tournament in 2005. Emad Tahtouh had already won a seat and qualified for the WSOP event when playing online via PokerStars and he managed to persuade Joe to join him at the series. At this WSOP tournament, it was the friend Joe Hachem who made a name for himself as, at this tournament, he became a WSOP bracelet winner. Although perhaps Emad is best known for being the reason that his friend Joe Hachem even attended the WSOP 2005 event, Emad Tahtouh has succeeded in creating for himself his own poker career. Today, Emad Tahtouh is among the top names of Australian players with the largest amount of winnings from poker. His favorite pursuit appears to be the no limit hold'em poker tournament events.
