Kenny Tran's biggest win at the WSOP and probably most memorable WSOP championship occurred in 2008, when he finished in first place and won a WSOP bracelet in the process. Kenny achieved this feat at the $10,000 buy in Heads Up No Limit Hold'Em event at which he earned the significant amount of $539,056 in prize winnings.
The year 2007 was a big one for Kenny in poker terms, with massive winnings on the cards. He managed to cash in at different events in the same year. In the No Limit Texas Hold'em event at the 2007 WSOP, he earned the amount of $381,302 in prize winnings. In the same year, he won the large sum of $444,000 when he finished in 5th place at the H.O.R.S.E. event at the WSOP. In 2007, Kenny also came in 16th place at the WSOP Europe main event. This was a No Limit Texas Hold'Em tournament at which he won £34,390 in prize winnings. All in all, this proved to be a busy and successful year for Kenny Tran.
Also worthy of note when looking at his WSOP tournament history is that in 2000, Kenny finished in 3rd place at the WSOP Limit Hold'Em event, while earning prize winnings of $92,240.

Although the WSOP is obviously one of the major tournaments in the global poker arena, there are other significant tournament events in the poker circuit. Kenny Tran has also made a mark at other events that include World Poker Tour (WPT) championships.In the year 2001, Kenny Tran competed in the WPT LA Poker Classic championship at which he came in first place at the Limit Hold'Em event. At this tournament, he won $118,770.
In 2008, he participated in the WPT championship, the Five Star World Poker Classic. He finished in 10th place at the No Limit Hold'Em event at which he won the amount of $158,290.
