Legendary Dan Bilzerian

Legendary Dan Bilzerian

According to Webster's dictionary, a legend is someone who is larger than life. In newspaper and magazine circles, some editors have a policy: when in doubt, print the legend.

Welcome to legendary Dan Bilzerian.

If you haven't heard about Bilzerian, you're in for a treat. He is (according to legend) a super-star poker player worth over $100 million. He has a lavish lifestyle, owns a yacht, dates beautiful bikini girls from all over the world, owns and races fast sports cars, and even trained to be a Navy SEAL.

It gets deeper than that.

Bilzerian makes videos of him and his model girl friends. He posts them on the Internet and claims to have 20 million Instagram followers.

At least one poker expert doesn't believe Bilzerian's story, calling him a liar.

Some people who have watched him play claim he isn't a very good poker player.

Bilzerian sneers at their doubts. He claims he won over $10 million in a single game against another player and that the stakes were $5,000 and $10,000 in no-limit Texas Hold'em.

A native of Tampa, FL., Bilzerian, 36, is the son of a corporate takeover artist who declared bankruptcy when he claimed he had only $15,000 in cash and debts totaling over $130 million.

The playboy reportedly owns homes in Hollywood Hills, CA. and Las Vegas, NV. He is an actor who has appeared in several low-budget films, including 'Olympus Has Fallen,' 'Lone Survivor,''The Other Woman' and 'Equalizer.'

His posted videos are wild, showing nude and semi-nude women cavorting with him on the deck of his yacht or at poolside. Some show his sports cars, which include a 1967 AC Cobra that he supposedly used to win $385,000 in a race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

One published report says his lavish lifestyle included drugs and that he suffered three heart attacks before his 32nd birthday.

Other stories claim he has been the target of several lawsuits by models who claimed he injured them. One woman said he kicked her in a lounge and another claimed she broke her foot when Bilzerian threw her off a roof into a swimming pool during a photo shoot for Hustler Magazine. The girl supposedly missed the pool, landing on the edge. The lawsuit against Hustler and Bilzerian is still pending.

It is a fact that his brother, Adam, is a poker player and that he finished 180th in the 2009 World Series of Poker.

Bilzerian is known for his muscular physique and his thick black beard. In an interview in 2013, he claimed he went broke in his sophomore year in college, sold some guns, turned $750 into $10,000 playing poker, flew to Las Vegas, and converted the $10,000 into $187,000 to launch him on his fortune.

Is Dan Bilzerian living a lie or is he telling truth? All I know is that some poker players bluff a lot and Bilzerian may be the biggest bluffer of all time.
