In a Rush? Check out the latest poker games at Full Tilt
« on: January 19, 2010, 06:20:35 PM »
Full Tilt are now offering the fastest games on the net.

Its called "Rush Poker" and its available exclusively at Full Tilt.  It's ultimate high speed poker and designed to minimise those boring waiting times in between hands.

This is how it works:

Join a Rush Poker game and be part of a large player pool, facing a different table of opponents every hand you play. As soon as you fold your hand, you'll be rushed to a new table for your next hand. To play even faster, use the Quick Fold button to move to another table, even if the action hasn't reached you yet.

Full details of this new concept can be found at their website....and don't forget to change your filter settings to include the Rush Poker tables.

Best of luck.

Ok - I have now tried this out.  OMG it is so fast.

You have to change your view to "standard view" in order to see the rush tables.

I joined a 5c/10c "group"...for want of a better word.  There were over 400 people playing in this group.  There is a "quick fold" button and as soon as you click that...whoosh - you're off to the next table which slides in from the right.  Well the players slide in - the window stays open.

You can play one hand in the time it takes you to click your mouse.  Watch out for the "serial raisers" - they will be the ones with the big stacks.  The max buyin is $10 - I began marking the raisers so I knew what I was looking for.

I bought in for $8 to start and that was gone in a flash.  I bought in again for another $8 and left the tables with just over $11 so I got a bit back.

I would say be prepared for the serial raisers - they will do anything to steal the blinds.  Once you have called if you have a decent hand, they bet your entire stack.

It was a good experience and the experience was good for me as a poker player but I don't think I'll be playing in a rush too often....I think it would cost me too much.

Has anyone else tried it?

That actually sounds pretty awesome, no more six hour long tournaments. I think i'll stay away from the ring games though.

I think ya pretty much got to be on the ball to play this. Also have some serious cash if you play regularly. It would be a nice change of pace after playing a longggggg tourney!

What you think about Rush Poker In FulltiltPoker? I think is like a All-in or Fold Tourney you just need a hand and all-inthats the way to winning on that.

See one Video here

Of course fulltilt poker is giving 5$ to all players who enter on a rush poker table and play some hands ;) ;)

Full Tilt are now offering RUSH POKER TOURNAMENTS!

When you play a Rush Poker Tournament, you’ll be part of a large player pool and face a different table of opponents every hand you play. When you fold your hand, you’ll be moved immediately to a new table for the next hand.

When there are less than 30 players left in the tournament, tables will become short-handed to ensure the pace of game remains as fast as possible. When the final table of the tournament is reached, the tournament switches to the “standard” tournament mode and hands will be played one at a time until the tournament is completed.

Best of luck if you intend to have a go at the Rush Tournaments.  Please let us know how you get on if you decide to have a go. It should be quick if nothing else!
