Scaling Everest on my way to Full Tilt

Thursday the 1st of April 2010

For some reason i can't get enough of those cheeky little Germans at Everest Poker. It's hard to explain what keeps me coming back to this site, it helps sure that i'm winning consistently there... But there's still something else.

The software is still a bit clunky, and there hand history tool is terrible compared to sites like poker stars. But the players are bad, the staff helpful and you can gamble your summit points!! I think its that last point that i really love, and i can't understand why other sites haven't thought of this.

After scraping together 300 summit points, a quick play at the tables turned that into 1,000 which gave me access to the no limit tables. After that every time i wasn't in the mood to gamble real money or had just gotten some nasty beats i jumped on the summit point tables. The great thing is, no one cares about summit points because there not real money. But i cared, i wanted as many i could get. Surprisingly in no time at all i had turned my 300 summit points into 120,000. With this i managed to get an xbox 360 pro elite valued at about $400 at the time. I could of converted them to cash too, and i think if i wanted to i could make enough summit points each month to live off(for a third world country at least).

An update of how I've gone at Everest so far is i originally bought in with $100, since then I've cashed out $450 won a free xbox and have another $400 sitting in my account. I've attached my cash game history below for march, where i decided to up the stakes to .50/1 tables and amazingly i didn't have a single losing session all month.

Now i'm off to try the biggest poker site in the world, Full Tilt and see how much of that massive $600 signup bonus i can clear.

To everyone reading this, may your aces hold true... and your poo become golden.
