Espn Classic To Broadcast European Poker Cash Games

Pokerheaven.com's European Cash Game and Cash Game Master Class to go out in 3 languages to over 20 million European homes ESPN Classic is to bring Pokerheaven action to European poker fans in a new series that covers the brand new 'PokerHeaven.com European Cash Game 2008', comprising 7 episodes of an hour each. Episode One premieres on the channel at 23:20 CET on 5th February 2009 and is the first of seven hourly slots to be shown every Thursday until 19th March. PokerHeaven.com European Cash Game will broadcast across Europe in English, German, and French. The PokerHeaven.com European Cash Game is an invitation only, Euro 10 000 buy in event, featuring some of the most established players in the world including the 2008 World Series of Poker winner, Peter Eastgate.The big winner was Eric Liu, a respected CardRunners instructor originally from Rockville in the United States. Liu finished 4th in the prestigious European Poker Tour in London last year and chalked up a profit of over Euro 70 000 for the session. Among the host of top professional players involved in the event are Englishman Neil Channing who at the age of just 22 was the winner of the 2008 Irish Open Winner; and Andy Black, who has potted over $4 million in career tournament winnings. From 26th March 2009 ESPN Classic will also broadcast the Cash Game Master Class, the first in a series on how to increase success in cash games. The series contains detailed analysis of the action from the PokerHeaven.com European Cash Game with professional insight from two of the most successful players in the series, Eric Liu and Albert Iverson, and is presented by David Tuckman.
