Texas Doyle Brunson Wins $2 Million

Discussing his $2 million profit over the weekend on his Internet blog, Brunson wrote that he had decided to hit the cash games instead of the World Poker Tour $25 000 Championship event, as it turned out a wise move in view of his subsequent success. As he pointed out, he would have needed to actually win the tournament to equal the profits from his cash game wins over the same period. During his foray into the cash games, Texas Dolly successfully clashed with the formidable international poker star Phil Ivey in an amusing episode he describes as Doyle Sez, which involved the poker veteran choosing the game to be played. Brunson went for six card Razz and beat his widely experienced opponent, commenting "I've got some more games for him if he wants to continue!
