Full Tilt Poker to replace Ladbrokes in online poker epic In a multi-year deal, the world's second largest online poker website, Full Tilt Poker.com, has become the sponsor of Matchroom Sport's Poker Millions tournament, replacing former sponsor online and land gambling group Ladbrokes in the UK. The poker spectacular will again take place in December this year, with the first six qualifying heats for the 72-player tournament starting in around mid-July in London, the company announced. The second round of qualifiers will take place mid-October along with the second runners-up heat and the two semi-finals. One Full Tilt Poker.com qualifier will win a seat at each of the 12 qualifying tables, competing to take down a top prize of $600 000 that is smaller than last years but still worth winning. “Full Tilt and Poker Million together, it's like my best mate marrying my sister," said Full Tilt pro Roland De Wolfe, engaging in a little pre-event trash talking. "I am excited to see my pals from the States – edog, Phil Ivey and Chris Ferguson – the top boys from the best poker-only site in Britain's finest knockout poker event, and after I've knocked them out I'll take them around the sights of London.”
