NUMBERS ALL HEADED THE RIGHT WAY FOR ENTRACTION Online poker network enjoys another successful quarter The Entraction online poker network buzzed with the news of another good quarter this week as the poker ntwork released its Q1 2009 numbers, showcasing EBITDA up 70 percent, net turnover rising by 52.2 percent, a 101.3 percent boost to operating profit and a significant increase in after tax profit attributable to shareholders. Highlights of the report included: * Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) soared 70.5 percent to SEK 19.1 millon (Q1 2008: SEK 11.2 million). * Net turnover to 52.2 percent to SEK 121.1 million (Q1 2008: SEK 79.5 million). * Operating profit surged 101.3 percent to SEK 15.5 million (Q1 2008: SEK 7.7 million). * Earning after tax referable to the parent company's shareholders up substantially at SEK 16.5 million (Q1 2008: SEK 6.6 million). The poker network is run by subsidiaries in Malta, which are licenced to market and carry out their own gaming operations, and to deliver gaming services for partners in the poker network.
