Paradise Series of Poker will play 12 tournaments in London Paradise Poker, an online poker brand owned by 888.com but operating on Boss Media's International Poker Network, is the big name behind a new series of twelve live poker tournaments titled Paradise Series of Poker, which will launch its inaugural events starting August 26th this (2009) year. With online qualifiers now available, the live tournaments will be played at the International Private Members Club in the historic English city of London, with a range of poker gamestyles on offer that includes Texas Hold'em, Omaha, and H.O.R.S.E. The organisers have released the full schedule, which includes buy-ins that range from GBP 50 to GBP 300 and a Main Event with a buy-in of GBP 1 000 and a restricted entry list of only 400 players. The list of tournaments, buy-ins and starting dates and times can be found at the IPN website, along with online qualifier satellite details. Winners of satellite packages to the live events will be required to wear Paradise Poker branding. The Main Event should prove particularly appealing to professional players, and Paradise Poker has beefed up the prize pool with an additional GBP 10 000.
