Another Great FTOPS

One player took home $450 000 The sixteenth edition of Full Tilt Poker's popular FTOPS ended early this week in spectacular style with a 20 hour NLHE main event that attracted plenty of players and delivered great action and major money. The Full Tilt Online Poker Series XVI was certainly a memorable experience for player 'urbandb888', who fought off some impressive opposition in Event #25 to win $450 000. Entry to the event cost players $3 000, which didn't discourage the 946 entrants and created a prize pool of $2 million. On the series' main event the result was not as clear cut, with five players eventually doing a chop that saw them leave the table with varying amounts ranging from $213 525 all the way up to $327 057. Highest paid player in the event was 'kirbynator' who collected the $327 057.40. The event carried a $640 buy-in, generating a prize pool of $3 million and pulling in an impressive 4 534 entrants. Six-figure paydays were also a feature of Event #29, a $163 buy-in NLHE rush re-buy affair that saw 1 748 players participate and a $933 150 prize pool. Player 'ambiguity' took the honours and the $192 228 main prize, with runner up 'zwacke' also in six-figure territory on $126 908. Event #28 – a NLHE six-max knockout with a $256 buy-in - similarly produced big numbers; almost 5 000 players entered to generate a prize pool of a million dollars. The event was won by 'dihxm' for $165 520, with runner-up 'number1PEN' collecting a second placing check for $142 500.
