Rush Poker i-app Removed, Question Is Why

Dec 02, 2010
Mobile app still available on the Full Tilt website After a recent launch of Full Tilt Rush Poker, this week mobile poker fans noted that the i-app has disappeared from the Android Market, perhaps due to the rules regarding classification of free-to-play gambling developments. The application remains available on the Full Tilt website. According to Full Tilt, which explained the removal in an email posted on Droid-Life.com, the app was "unavailable due to maintenance." "While we are delighted at the success of the Rush Poker Mobile software, due to the software being in the beta testing stage, maintenance such as this is often essential.” When presented at the Android Market, the software passed beta testing by Black Card members of Full Tilt. It also immediately follows the Android Market requirement that app developers need to categorize their apps into 4 different age categories, with the top two being Teen and Mature. “Apps with gambling themes or that include simulated gambling should be rated 'Teen' or above. Real [money] gambling is not allowed in Android Market,” specifies Android Market.
