Last woman standing in 2009 WSOP wins EUR100,000
The Full Tilt Poker Masters Series Spain saw a new winner, 888 Poker ambassador Leo Margets beat thirty-one Spanish player in the invitation only event held at Gran Casino Costa Brava, Lloret de Mar. This win brought her another EUR100000 to her lifetime poker winnings.
The tournament lasted three days, and it involved a number of poker challenges, such as deepstack, shootout and, finally, a turbo tournament. In the heads up, Margets defeated her last opponent, Massimiliano Luppi, after a two hour play.
This has been a successful season for Margets – prior to this she ended up second at an Aussie Millions event and won two exclusive tournaments for top players, the Spanish Poker Tour circuit and Full Tilt Poker Series.
