Online Poker Executive Gets Restraining Order

Irish High Court slaps Humphreys This week's news served to show how competitive the online poker industry gets. The latest reports from Ireland point to the case between Full Tilt Poker and their departing web operations manager Liall Humphreys, who got a restraining order from a High Court judge. Reportedly, the case was initiated by Full Tilt which applied for the order after it was discovered that Humphreys, who is moving to their rival Paddy Power, had breached their confidentiality contract by emailing sensitive Full Tilt data to a personal account. The legal team of Full Tilt, which employs 700 people in the Dublin area, claimed that if such a move results in the information reaching its competitors, the company's market position could be seriously compromised.
