Winner's bracelet goes to Rettenmaier of Germany The end of the Pokerstars French Poker Series live tournament, held at the Cercle Haussmann near the Opéra de Paris, turned out to be lucky for a German player Marvin Rettenmaier who took the winner's bracelet, along with a major prize of EUR244,036. With this win, Rettenmaier's career winnings reached almost $700 000, and this represents only one of his big wins, some of which are a WSOP final table and a win on the Spanish Poker Tour. The total number of players at the tournament was 567, and paying EUR2 000 apiece to compete, they formed a prize-pool of EUR979 776 for the Grand Final. Some of the players participating in this new tour included Arnaud Mattern, Thomas Bichon, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Julian Brécard, Jose "Nacho" Barbero, EPT London champ David Vamplew and 2009 EPT San Remo winner Constant Rijkenberg. The final table of the event comprised Julien Jolivet, Michael Bouaziz, Jerome Hoen, Alexandre Bonnin, Leonard Truche, Stephane Benadiba, as well as second-placed Basil Yaïche, who took home his second prize worth EUR153 000
