EUR5,000 buy-in event sees an unexpected finale In a very exciting battle at the Euro 5,000 buy-in WPT Paris National Series Main Event, presented by ACFpoker.fr, everyone's favorite Sam Trickett and a number of other bigger names were defeated by a 23 year-old Russian player Natalia Nikatina, who then took home the title along with the first prize of EUR243,830. “That was a long and hard contest. Three hours before the end I was actually finding it hard to stay awake and keep concentrating on my game but I am delighted to win. I am going to celebrate by buying a BMW 6 Series!” she commented. In the heads up, Nikatina faced reputable Parisian pro Alexandre Brivot, whom she defeated after a whole night of playing. Apart from the two and Trickett, who didn't continue his run from the Aussie Millions and finished sixth, other people at the final table included Benjamin Pollak, Jean-Louis Tepper, Tobias Wagner, Ingo Paulus and Nicolo Calia.
