This came on top of the $620 000 he won off him the night before. This came through 7 700 hands of $100/$200 Pot Limit Omaha in a heads up that attracted much interest, as this may have been Blom's opportunity to get some payback against Palmer, who has defeated him on a number of occasions prior to this.
