Procedural deadline for online poker bill in Assembly The latest news from the Nevada involves a procedural deadline for the online poker legalization initiative in the Assembly. This refers to the first house passage limit, which means that if a bill started in the Assembly, the deadline is the time until which it has to pass a vote there, otherwise it will die. However, the above mentioned bill AB258 is not the only one that faces the serious do or die deadline. There are also others, including the ones referring to motor cycle helmet repeal and discrimination to gun owner legislation. These bills are now being pushed forward by their authors in an attempt to persuade other legislators to vote their bills before the deadline expires. As for AB258, it's worth noticing that the bill proposed by Assemblyman William Horne has undergone some serious amendments when it was going through the committee stages, before getting to its current form.
