ARJEL Approves Pokerstars Home Games

System analysis completed Reports arrived this week from the French online gambling market, that PokerStars received approval from the French regulatory body ARJEL to operate its "Home Games" feature on Pokerstars.fr domain. The only condition posed is that participants are registered and approved by the operator. With PokerStars Home Games, players can create private poker parties between members of a poker club or with friends, all fully managed by PokerStars. The feature was first launched in February 2011, but as early as in March the company had to inform its players that ARJEL had temporarily suspended the feature in order to conduct a system analysis to ensure its compliance with French law. In related news, another gambling company obtained ARJEL's approval to operate on the market. This time it was PartyGaming subsidiary, ElectraWorks, which will launch and operate wptpoker.fr.
