Better luck next time…
It has been a good day for a famous poker pro Phil Hellmuth at this year's WSOP, but not as good as it gets. Namely, he missed out on his bracelet number 12 in event 33: $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Low Split-8 or Better Championship, being defeated in the heads up by Eric Rodawig at level 28.
Therefore, he had to be content with a second placing prize of $273,233, whereas Rodawig claimed the bracelet and the main prize of $442,183.
Another event ended early on June 21, event 32: $1,500 No Limit Hold'em which saw Kirk Caldwell take down his first WSOP bracelet along with $668,292 main prize. In the heads-up Caldwell defeated Ben White, whose second placing brought him $414,918.
