Communications specialist joins the team In an attempt to improve its communications side of business, the world's biggest online poker site, Pokerstars, has appointed an experienced communications specialist, Eric Hollreiser, who will take over the lead of the company's integrated communications efforts worldwide. It has been specified that his responsibilities will involve the execution of corporate communications, internal communications, public relations and corporate social responsibility, and conveying the company's messages via social media and talent communications. Prior to this, Hollreiser worked as a journalist, so he has an extensive experience in the media, entertainment and technology, where he held a number of senior position in companies, such as Microsoft Corp., the Walt Disney Company and Activision. He also served as an agency executive at Tierney Communications and he is a co-founder of T2 Group. He was hired thanks to a six-month international search by a leading executive search firm. He proved his skills in recent months as a consultant for PokerStars, providing it with good counsel and strong leadership, which was particularly necessary because of the troubles caused by Black Friday.
