Cake Poker Loses An Operator

Circumstances drive Poker Pros Network away from the US An announcement came this week that Poker Pros Network is leaving Cake Poker Network as well as the US market, effective from Aug. 31, at midnight EST. The existing US players will be allowed to remain there, as agreed with PPNpoker.com and PPNpoker.eu. It has been specified that "In an effort to comply with current US legislation, Poker Pros Network recently adjusted its URL to PPNpoker.eu. "In addition, PPNpoker.eu will be moved to a proprietary network in the near future," probably in early fall, with a beta introduction of new features such as live dealers and "dealers' choice" games. It was stated by the PPN owner Chuck Kidd: "We here at PPN are dedicated to improving our software, creating a safe environment for players to compete, and encouraging our pros to be available to customers at all stake levels. It's been a lot of work, but what we're introducing later this year should turn the online poker industry on its head."
