FTP’s Irish Staff Dismissed

The list of casualties grows bigger… An announcement came this week that Pocket Kings, a subsidiary of beleaguered Full Tilt Poker, has started a redundancy program through which 180 Dublin-based employees are to be laid off. Reportedly, the move is necessary due to Pocket King's restructuring process, thanks to the vast losses in the US and European markets. At the end of last week, the company apparently offered the employees statutory redundancies. However, this should come as no surprise, as the company already made an announcement back in September that its redundancy program will affect up to 250 out of 500 staff members.
