Enhanced measures against data mining applied by Bodog This week saw an announcement of the launch of a new Bodog Poker's software which will reportedly employ enhanced measures against data mining by players and monitoring organizations. It has been specified by Bodog spokesman Jonas Odman that the new anonymous tables prevent the collection of relevant data, adding that Bodog “is not afraid of controversy and has started to block data mining attempts earlier this year.” The company has named its new approach the Bodog Recreational Poker Model, and it claims it to be a unique concept in the online poker industry, making it the "fairest place to play." And even though some observe it as an attempt to stop experienced players exploiting the 'fish,' the company believes that by denying the professionals and more expert and knowledgeable players access to information that might give them the edge, the software will even the playing field.
