$1 buy-in event to generate spectacular prize pool Reports arrived this week that a massive tournament, which will cast a shade even over the biggest WSOP main event payday, is being planned by Caesars Interactive Entertainment and Guy Laliberté, the chairman of the charity for which the tournament is being organized - One Drop. Reportedly, the $1 million buy-in tournament, titled the Big One for One Drop, will take place as part of the WSOP 2012 schedule, running from July 1 to July 3 at the Rio in Las Vegas, and its winner will not only get a formidable payday, but also a special platinum WSOP bracelet. The tournament has already attracted the interest of 22 players, who are ready to enter the competition with the expensive buy-in; speaking of which, $111,111 of each massive buy-in will go to the water provision charity, whereas the rest will go to a rake-free prize pool. Some of the players who have already committed themselves to the tournament include Patrik Antonius, Gus Hansen, Daniel Negreanu, Johnny Chan, Tom Dwan, Tony Guoga, Jonathan Duhamel, and Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier.
