Ukrainian Pro Takes down PCS Highroller Event
Over $1 million for Bilokur This weekend saw the end of the $25 000 buy-in Pokerstars Caribbean Adventure High Roller event, in which Ukrainian poker pro Leonid Bilokur outplayed all the big names that comprised the player pool and beat the current World Series of Poker champion, Jonathan Duhamel, to the main prize of $1,134,930. The event's final table included Isaac Haxton (finished third), Jason Koon (chip leader at the start who finished fourth); Nicolas Fierro; Govert Metaal; Michael Telker and famous Randy Lew. However, despite the fact that he held 2 to 1 chip lead at the beginning of the heads-up, Duhamel did not manage to match the Ukrainian's disciplined style, so he went home with the runner-up prize of $634,550.
